1.
I'm outside, a kid climbing invisible stairs in my childhood town. I'm exhilarated by this unseemly levitation that gives an oddly alien perspective of rooftops and playgrounds I know so well, streets and often-threaded paths through parks. There is not a single person around, no witness to this peculiar event, and that's for the better, I think to myself. Just me in my little dream. A dream? Yes, a dream, what else would it be? Suddenly I panic and wake up. I wonder, as I look at the shadows playing on the crusty ceiling, why are lucid dreams so rare?

Tesseract 07:12
A quick detour through my inner Garden of Automatic Thoughts. Don't get lost, there's no easy way to find yourself again.
3.
The rite of unveiling. With a tinge of summer solstice. Imagine endless sequence of veils, but with the heat of zenith sun shining right at the top of your skull. A veil could get handy.
4.
The light that reveals the shape of things unseen, searing through the dark, disturbing the peace.

Open your eyes, close your eyes, whichever way, the same image burned into the retina. Inner world, outer world, one original, one facsimile. Which one, then, to consider true?

about

Who knows what kinds of experiments have been conducted already, us gormlessly glued to the screens, the one-way mirrors to our souls.

I wonder how it would feel to watch a movie at cinema recorded in infrared, or with inverted colours. What sort of unease would slip inside our mind, just watching the performance of a human being through this otherworldly filter? Would we see something unusual, unexpected? Would we see a hidden lie, a secret, an agenda not supposed to be overt? What kind of creepiness would jump out at us, a character note we normally consider desirable or attractive?

I propose a short clip be made entirely in inverted colours, depicting an everyday scene from the street, without any atmospheric sound added to the original recording, to be watched on the big screen by the adventurous and the willing.

about

23trees Zagreb, Croatia

I’m a soundscapist. These tracks are little cuts of my inner states. I create them on my fairly good headphones (AKG fyi), so I recommend listening on ones of your preference. These pieces should fuel your own inner narratives, they're not
performative. Liquid and morphing often, tracks can even disappear into oblivion. Albums solidify over time. Have access to all the mischief if you buy in.
