Piano Aorist Sequence Mishap

Karma suspiciously looked at those rarely used black and white keys on a family piano. There was something about those that made her curious mind want to jump right at them, but then, she remembered sharply it's rumbling noises that always made her regret her little transgressions almost instantly. Night was silent as it should be, everybody was asleep, but then, everybody in their stupid festive drunken soiree forgot to put water in her little porcelain cup. Even her young best friend, not taking part in adult’s alcoholic orgies around the stupid spiky tree in the corner of the room with those cursed twinklingly disturbing lights, forgot about her and she never ever does.

There was some deliberation to do inside the cat's own mind, the prospect of waking everybody in the room gave her tremendous joy, but she herself was not so fond of loud noises. Every previous time she jumped on those damnable keys she bounced even higher landing on them again only for the noise to become that much louder. She took one more look around the room from her favourite shelf just above the piano, the guest all snorted in their self-satisfied sleep, dreaming their stupid snowy dreams, what with reindeers and flying coach and other unthinkable monstrosities, sniffed a little to remember this quiet little moment, a calm before the storm and jumped.
